Demystifying Data for Health Professionals
The Urban Indian Health Institute is hosting a free 1-day training on Monday, July 16th in Seattle, Washington.
This is a training for staff of urban Indian health organizations on how to understand and use health data specific to urban American Indian and Alaska Native populations. This training will help participants gain a better understanding of public health data, how to read and use scientific reports for their work, and how to use data for grant applications, program planning and advocacy.
The training will take place prior to the Native Health Research Conference. Please see the Demystifying Data flyer and share these with staff members who may be interested and available to attend. Send an email with your interest to: Shira Rutman at ShiraR@uihi.org or call 206-812-3030.
Registration Deadline: June 20th, 2012.
The SIHB’s National Urban Indian Health Conference is also taking place the week before on July 11-12th.
