Washington Indian Gaming Association (WIGA) Scholarship
The Washington Indian Gaming Association is now accepting applications for its 2013-2014 scholarship, with up to $60,000 being awarded for Native American students in Washington seeking to advance their personal and professional potential through higher education. College Bound Scholarship Program offers the promise of tuition and books to qualifying 7th and 8th graders in Washington State. This scholarship covers the amount of tuition (at public institution rates) not covered by other state financial aid and a small book allowance for income-eligible students who sign up in the 7th or 8th grade, work hard in school, stay out of legal trouble, and successfully apply to a higher education institution when they graduate.
