Enrollment for the 2016 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is now Open with Applications available on our ADS Website http://www.agingkingcounty.
King County applicants will need to provide a valid King County mailing address, be age 60 or older (age 55 or older if American Indian/Alaska Native) and low-income (below 185% Federal Poverty level). Income guidelines for this year are as follows:
$21,978 Annual $1,832 Monthly Income for 1 person
$29,637 Annual $2,470 Monthly Income for 2 people
For larger households add $642 for each additional person
King County accepts applications and distributes vouchers by mail only. Open enrollment will extend from April 15 through May 16 with vouchers scheduled to be mailed by July 1, 2016.
Due to the program popularity, ADS typically does not have enough vouchers to provide one for each applicant and will utilize a random selection process. Please note: clients residing in other areas of the state (outside of King Co.) will need to contact the Area Agency on Aging in their region to apply. DSHS, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program has statewide contact information listed on their website, if needed.
The mailing address for Completed 2016 applications is listed on the back of the application. The address is:
Seattle Farmers Market Nutrition Program
140 Lakeside Ave, Suite A-180
Seattle, WA 98122
